Sustainable development is an important part of the Louvain-based company, Drukkerij Van Der Poorten. This is one of the reasons we recently made the switch to 100% organic inks for all our printing work. Among other things, organic inks are based on plant-based binder systems. This makes them more easily bio-degradable than classic mineral inks, and therefore better for the environment and for our printing facility.

Our choice for organic inks is not only based on our eco-friendly strategies; these inks also offer technical advantages. The highly concentrated organic inks are very fast-setting, have good oxidative drying properties, and result in extremely sharp results. This is just one of the ways we continuously invest in new printing techniques and innovative technology.

We made a conscious choice for the Novavit F950 Plus BIO ink.

This high-pigment (low-solvent) four-colour ink is suitable for any type of paper. A newly developed binder based on 100% plant-based materials makes this ink extremely suitable for our fast-running printing presses.

The choice to use 100% organic inks enables us to offer a vast array of high-quality printing work via an environmentally friendly production process.
